Another little wander...alone.
Inspired by the wonderful Kazzy at Country Rabbit I decided to take myself off on my own for a walk. I'm terrible for making excuses as to why I can't wander about the countryside on my own - What if I get trampled by cows? What if a madster jumps out of the bushes and attacks me? What if I get lost? Or, worst of all, what if I were to be pixie led!? I've not heard any rumours of the latter ever happening in Northamptonshire, so after I'd finished my painting for the day, bathed the baby and fed the husband, I took myself off across the fields.
I didn't venture too far, only walking for a half hour or so before heading back. I took the long way home. One day I'd love to live in cottage like this
or this...
But wherever I live I come home to this...
well, maybe not a box of chocolates every night!

ReplyDeleteAnd what a lovely landscape to walk through!
Your welcome! And please do stop by again :D
DeleteIt's lovely to walk alone with your thoughts isn't it. I don't think I've ever done that in the countryside come to think of it, not on my own anyway. It must be a whole new experience I'm missing out on! I quite fancy a cottage like those too! :)

I didn't dare venture out of eye or ear shot of the village, I'm a real chicken! It was a lovely bit of time alone and nice to just be me rather than mum/wife/housemaid/work-a-holic etc etc!
DeleteLovely pictures of your walk. Do be careful - I walk in the woods here but I either take my friends dog or go up to the dog rescue kennel and walk a stray - I am lucky they are the other side of the woods - but there is always a little dog somewhere wanting a walk - much safer for you and someone to talk to!
