St Patrick's Day

I'm still stowed away in my secret hidey-hole, waiting for stuff to 'happen'. These gorgeous wee buns turned up on the table this lunchtime, they didn't last long....

It's actually raining and sunny at the same time today, so I'm enjoying the soft spring sunlight as it's filtered through the rain. I love that.

My copy of the World Book Day book that I illustrated f-i-n-a-l-l-y arrived yesterday, I'm really pleased with how it looks.

So, back to work for me this afternoon in my make shift studio....I have twenty mattresses to paint. Can you guess which fairy tale I'm illustrating?

I'm just putting the finishing touches to roughs for the inside illustrations to this lovely story book. It's a gorgeous story, written by Madhvi Ramani and will be available to buy later this year!

World Book Day

In case you missed it, it was World Book Day on the 1st of March and one of the books that was specially commissioned for the event was illustrated by me!

The author is the lovely Holly Webb and is part of the Molly Magic series. The next book in the series - "The Good luck Duck" is published next month and you can pre order it - HERE

Well Howdy Doody!

It's been ages, I apologise. Life was turned on it's head for two months and the dust is just beginning to settle. And as soon as it settles, it will be kicked up all over the place again, but in a good way, and in an exciting way.
I am tucked away in a secret place for a month or two until writings have been written, stories have been illustrated, portfolios are presentable, creatures have been sewn and stuffed and a good bundle of promotional mail has been sent off to various big cities far away.
